Walter has been a web developer since the earliest days of the web. Starting out as a senior manager in New York University's Stern School of Business IT Department, Walter has since worked as a design and programming consultant to firms such as Gray Advertising, Banco Paribas, SBG Warburg Dillon Reed and PixelPark.

In 1996, Walter co-founded with Ajay Arora the consulting firm Web Design House, Inc. Walter's work for WDH included creating and administrating portal sites such as stocksiren.com, community sites like WeAlumni.com and commerce sites like eRSVP.com.
